Hello, I'm so glad you're here!

If you're new here, my name is Sonya Burgess. I was born and raised here in beautiful Aotearoa! In school I found a love for both art and science, but decided to focus on science and obtained a Bachelor of science, majoring in Pharmacology.

After studying in Auckland, I managed to last a whopping year (I know I caved quick) in the work force before the travel bug managed to grab a hold of me. It wasn't until I traveled that I found my love for art again, thank you limited Wi-Fi connection. I have been traveling for the last 5 years doing seasonal work, however, its only been the last two years that I've started focusing on my art.

My dreams became a reality in October 2022 when I was able to go full time with my art!

I have enjoyed every second of this process so far and I can't wait to see where this takes me, and I would love for you to follow along too!
